Gauge Glass Fittings are mostly used for seeing the level of the fluid in tanks, vessels, etc. These are manufactured in different shapes and sizes i.e. 1) offset pattern with one valve on top ad another with a drain valve at bottom using tubular borosilicate glass tube in between the two valves. 2) Using toughened borosilicate glass in between two oval shaped blocks and backside of the block to be welded, will be made to suit the radius of the cylinder on which it is to be welded.
